Which languages does inWind WA Helper support?

Interface language and translation target are separate. Translation depends on the model; voice recognition can auto-detect or use a BCP 47 language tag.

The product separates two settings that are easy to confuse. Interface language controls menus and labels, and currently offers Chinese and English. Translation target controls the language of the result, and depends on the model you use.

Changing the interface language does not change the translation target. You can work in English and translate into Spanish, or use a Chinese interface and translate into Arabic.

Interface language: Chinese or English

The Chrome extension, the official account pages, and the Android app let you switch the interface between Chinese and English.

The choice affects buttons, settings, and status messages. It does not change the language of customer messages, the translation target, or the model prompt.

Translation targets depend on the model

The target list comes from the configured model or the official catalog. Common targets include Simplified Chinese, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, French, German, Russian, Japanese, and Korean.

The list is not a promise that every model handles every pair equally well. Specialized trade terms, slang, and mixed-language messages may need review.

Voice recognition languages

Voice recognition detects the language automatically by default. You can also pass an optional language tag in BCP 47 form, such as es or pt-BR.

Supported audio formats are OGG/Opus, MP3, WAV, and M4A. Other formats are rejected rather than guessed. If the detected language looks wrong, the result may include a hint, but the transcript is not rewritten automatically.

Choosing a target that fits the conversation

Set the target per task or as a default. Auto-translate skips incoming messages already in its target language without a model call.

For a customer who writes in Portuguese, translating into English for your own reading and replying in Portuguese are different steps. The product helps with reading and drafting; the language you send is your choice.

Limits

No model handles all languages with equal quality. Short messages without context, heavy dialect, and overlapping scripts can produce weak results.

The product does not claim 100 percent accuracy. Read the result before sending, especially for prices, dates, names, and product specifications.

Image text depends on image quality and layout. Voice depends on audio clarity and background noise.
