Questions and answers
Does inWind WA Helper work with WhatsApp Business?
The extension attaches to the WhatsApp Web page open in desktop Chrome. It is not a WhatsApp Business app plug-in and does not use private APIs.
There is no separate WhatsApp Business edition of the extension. It works on the WhatsApp Web page you open in desktop Chrome, the same way it works for any other account shown on that page.
Whether a Business account can use WhatsApp Web is decided by WhatsApp. The extension cannot enable that, and it does not add Business-only features.
What the extension attaches to
The extension runs as a Chrome side panel next to web.whatsapp.com. It needs desktop Chrome 120 or later.
It does not attach to the WhatsApp mobile app, the WhatsApp desktop application, or a Business app on a phone. The page in Chrome is the only surface.
On that page, it handles only what is visible in the open conversation. This does not change the account's permissions in WhatsApp.
Business accounts on the web
If you open a Business account in WhatsApp Web, the extension treats the visible messages like any other conversation. The message menu, side panel, and language settings behave the same.
It does not read Business labels, catalogs, quick replies, or templates. Those are page features outside the product's scope.
WhatsApp Business tools such as labels and catalogs stay in the page. If you need them, use them in WhatsApp Web directly.
What it does not do for Business
The extension is a reading and drafting aid, not a business messaging platform. These functions are outside its scope:
- No bulk messaging or campaigns.
- No contact-list import or CRM sync.
- No automatic replies or lead routing.
- No shared team inbox across employees.
- No calls to WhatsApp private interfaces.
Working with a team
Each person uses the extension in their own browser profile and signs in to the official service or configures a custom API separately.
The extension does not give an administrator a way to read employee chats. Saved results stay in each browser profile, not in a shared team inbox. Official-service account and task records follow the service policy.
A shared browser profile is a shared workspace: the next person can see saved results and settings. Use separate profiles for separate people.
Limits
WhatsApp Web changes its page structure from time to time. A feature that depends on the page can break until the extension is updated.
The product is not affiliated with or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta. It does not promise Business API features or compliance workflows.
If a Business account cannot open WhatsApp Web in your region or setup, the extension cannot work around that restriction.
