Understand a product image without leaving the chat
Read one product photo from WhatsApp Web: visible details, labels, packaging, and next steps. One image at a time, no gallery scanning.
A customer sends a photo of a competitor product, a sample, or a defect. The useful information is often in the label, the packaging, or a small detail in the corner.
The extension reads the single image you selected and describes the visible information. It does not scan the gallery or other messages.
One image, one request
Open the message menu on an image message and choose image understanding. If you are already in the image preview, use the entry in the preview toolbar.
A group of images is handled one image at a time. Open the preview, read the current image, then move to the next one. Switching images clears the old result.
What it can read
The model can describe visible product details, packaging, labels, text, and condition. It is useful for a first pass, not a substitute for a specification sheet or a quality inspection.
If the image is blurry, cropped, or too small, ask the customer for a clearer photo instead of guessing.
- Visible text and labels, subject to image quality.
- Product shape, color, material, and packaging cues.
- Differences or defects that are clearly visible.
Use it for customer photos
When a customer sends a photo instead of a description, use image understanding to extract the visible facts, then ask a precise follow-up question.
Do not treat the description as a confirmed specification. Confirm measurements, materials, and compliance requirements in writing.
Privacy and local files
Only the image you selected is read. The extension does not scan the gallery, other chats, or the camera roll.
You can upload, paste, or select an image from the message menu. The image is compressed locally before it is sent to the configured vision model.

Frequently asked questions
Can it read text inside the image?
It can describe visible text, but image quality and language affect accuracy. Check prices, dates, model numbers, and compliance marks against the original.
Can it understand a group of images as one request?
No. Grouped images are opened and understood one at a time. Switching the preview clears the previous result.
Does it work without an image?
No. Upload, paste, or select an image from the message menu first. Text-only questions belong in the translation or assistant tool.
